For the first time in my life, I was on time. I was driving through Rocky Mountain National Park to begin my weekend photo excursion when I arrived at this spot.
This was the first time I had seen the Never Summer Mountain Range and to witness it under these circumstances was too good to be true. Perfect cloud capped mountain peaks began to glow with the warm colors of morning. Meanwhile, low hanging clouds caught in the valley below, slow drifted between the ranges. These clouds rode the prevailing winds as they moved about their way.
Even though dogs are not allowed in the park, mine enjoyed the views from the driver seat. Arriving before sunrise has its perks since no one is there to check you in
