Towards the tail end of Summer I began to realize my opportunity for photo ops were deminishing. I made it a goal to get out as often, and where ever I could. So, as soon as work was done, I would race home, collect my gear and typically go to Devil's Backbone. Close, semi-out of the city, and sick terrain, many sunsets were spent here, however. None offered such a magnificent display of light as this evening.
Here is my first 180 degree plus panorama. I just had to capture the colors blending from a marvelous orange to awe inspiring pinks. All so electric, you felt you were back in the 80's.
And although I do edit my photographs, I do it to depict what I witness at that moment in time. This is, without a doubt, how vibrant these colors were.
In total this is a 10 image panorama.
I almost forgot to add, obviously you can see where the sun is setting, but the storm cloud to the right of the photo is east and where Fort Collins resides. I just get a kick out of it.
Wow! Very dramatic. I'm not usually a fan of panoramas, as I feel they are usually very flat. This one is anything but! Great job keeping the landscape popping in this pano.
