My Morning Perch -Color- by Jacob-Routzahn My Morning Perch -Color- by Jacob-Routzahn
This is a color version of My Morning Perch. The first time visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and anxious to shoot. I decided to climb the side of a cliff for a better angle off the beaten trail. A definite stand still moment in my life where it took a moment before I could focus. Only if I could see this everyday.

I see the clouds in the background and the strong shadows on the trees and was wondering if that was from some photoshopping or merely a fog around the mtns?

I did do some editing however, I wouldn't really call it a fog. It was snow blowing in over the mountains due to high winds. So it was kind of fogish :D

woah!
i'm guessing that you dont live there because its impossible to be so lucky that you can live in a place like that!
the mist over the mountains makes them look very mysterious
the sun coming down gives it a very "heavenly" effect like if you climbed that mountain you could reach it
