Most of my photographs take part around sunset or sunrise. As of recently, I've had an epiphany that some of the best shots I've been viewing as of lately, haven't partaken at either of those time frames. So, needing to stretch my legs from the computer and work on different photos, I took Jasper out and headed to our usual spot, Horsetooth Reservoir.
We hiked around scouting for spots to shoot and for a brief moment, the clouds parted long enough for me to set up on a really neat boulder. Facing North, the lighting formed terrific shadows across the hills and pulled out the colors from the remaining fall foliage.
Well, that wasn't due to facing North, that was just the low angle of the sun. But it was all very pretty and an enjoyable day out and about.
