This shot of Devil's Icebox was taken on the Missouri Department of Conservation's Rock Bridge State Park. What was once an underground stream gave rise to a sinkhole that managed to erode through the caverns ceiling. The reminiscence of the cave's once roof slowly weathers away as the stream passes by.

" title=" (Wink)" />Much can be said about a photographer willing to go certain lengths to get a picture, and this is one of quite decent merit! Here the water is so peculiar in its texture that you question the temperature it must have been from inside the cave, that and the lighting is perfect in showing the most interesting of the areas within, while adding a curtain of illumination to further the feel of the place.
