Big South Flows

Being that I have hiked most of the trails on the front side of the Poudre Canyon, I made a decision to venture further back with my pup. He and I chose the Big South Trail about two hours away from my house since we have heard some rather positive feedback on it. Though the day was overcast, this actually worked to my favor. The stream lies in somewhat of a hybrid between a valley and a gully. Not very steep, but not real shallow. The trail follows a beautiful stream where there are many spots with waterfalls and neat little rapids that worked perfectly with the ambient lighting provided by the cloudy skies.
