Each time I made my way out into the lower unit for work, I would look back and to the North at this plateau. The high point for the Northern edge of the property, I knew there was a trail that led to it. I needed to coordinate my timing to ensure the utmost perfection with the lighting and wild flowers.

Finally deciding to head up with a friend, we made our way up the side of this plateau. While hiking up, tiny collisions began to occur with the mosquitoes. Then, the biting began. It seemed perfectly tolerable at first, but after persistence, the biting became out of control. These little cannibals were tickling the fine line of sanity.

Finally, we arrive to our destination and the evening breeze provided a welcomed relief from the savages. The lighting was working great, the flower blooming, and the location clutch. I was very much pleased with my first visit.

wow! such a beautiful sight you captured! am very jealous of your place of work! always enjoy the stories you share of the experience you have capturing this shot..definitely applaud battling the mosquitoes to capture this beauty :)

am really on the fence about that piece of earth sticking up from the left bottom corner, for the most part it doesnt distract or take away..actually gives a little better idea of perspective..however, think a shorter height might benefit the overall view a little..but than you dont want to have the highlight on the ground cut off either.. eitherway..b&w tones are perfect here..nicely done!

Wow, thank you very much :D I'm pleased to hear you say the tones are good. On my computer they are fine, my fiance's on the other hand is questionable. Thanks again :highfive:
