Another evening spent doing my thing at the apartment with an eye to the sky. Making sure the clouds were just right so I could hurry up to the reservoir for some shots. Well, on this particular evening they were looking good. A quick drive up and a little patience allowed for this shot. I enjoy how insane the different cloud formations were. Especially the ones on the right. They remind me of a phoenix or some other mythological being.

the scene is just perfect o:
i love the colours a lot - how amazing the sky is :love:
anyway the rocks, the sea and the landscape in the background just match perfectly!

Beautiful sky Jake. I think this picture shows well how important a suitable foreground is. You do have foreground, but I miss something that the eye can rest on that is sharp or distinctive.

WOW! This is one of your best, by far, in my opinion. The sky is perfect as far as color and interesting clouds, and the foreground is lit just the right amount. Seriously amazing shot!
